Selena Gomez (Getty Images) Disney star Selena Gomez looked red-hot at the Disney Kids & Family Upfront event in New York City. Basically, the event promoted the network's biggest stars and even unveiled some spoilers from upcoming TV series. If it's not about Selena and Justin, we don't care!
On the music front, Gomez has been talking about the inspiration behind her new single "Who Says." "I felt like my fans need this song right now," Gomez said. "So I thought it was a sweet message. With bullying, with cyberbullying, with all the negativity that is in high school and dealing with things, you're already trying to figure out who you are; it doesn't help when people are constantly trying to tear you down. And I'm dealing with it, of course. I'm going through it as well."
Sounds pretty timely.
